* The eSports Marketing Blog rating (EMB rating) is a value which is calculated by adding the cumulative amount of facebook-likes, twitter-and twitch.tv-channel-followers as well as the total amount of channel views of a certain player. The sum of this addition is divided by ten million. Although the figure does not give information about engagement, activity or other related data, it can be considered as a reference point regarding the popularity of a player. The rating only takes professional professional players into account who participated at the premier tournaments of 2015 (in Dota2 and CS:GO) or are pariticipating at the League of Legends Championship Series 2016 (LCS) and its equivalents in South Korea, China, South East Asia and Brazil. By looking at the stats, please be aware of the fact that services like facebook, twitter or twitch.tv are used by most of the professional players, but some dont use all of them. Especially players from Asia use asia-based services.
