Family

S1mple has an older brother who is also a co-partner in a Sushi restaurant business. His parents are extremely supportive of his eSports career and have been regularly spotted at major tournament events.

Gaming Origins

S1mple’s first foray into the world of gaming came when he was introduced to the world of Counter-Strike by his brother at the age of four.

He grew up playing several FPS games, including Counter-Strike 1.6, with his neighbors during his teenage years. The duo participated in several LAN tournaments together.

The release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012 encouraged S1mple to go professional, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Professional Career

S1mple signed with LAN DODGERS in 2014 but soon left the team to sign up with Courage Gaming. He won the StarLaddar ProSeries Season 10 (CS: GO). In the same year, S1mple signed with Hellraisers.

S1mple was removed from the Hellraisers due to inflammatory comments in January of the following year. There is still some controversy regarding whether the ban was due to the remarks made on the platform or due to cheating. This ban was further extended for a couple of years due to ban evasion.

By the end of the year, S1mple signed with Flipsid3 Tactics.
