Starting with humble beginnings, Derke was originally a CS: GO player for a team called SkitLite in 2018 and Kova esports in 2020. After this, he joined CrowCrowd and was a member till late 2020. Further on, he switched to Fnatic in early 2021 and is presently an active team member. During his time playing CS: GO, he had the alias of Derkeps, which later changed to Derke on shifting to Valorant.

Derke represents the Europe-Middleast-Africa (EMEA) region in Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters at Iceland.

In Fnatic, he mostly plays Valorant and prefers to play as Jett. Most of his recorded winnings have been as Jett, with a win rate of over 70%. Additionally, he plays other characters such as Sova and Raze. On a rare occasion, he has also played as Omen.

Derke is a professional esports gamer who has many wins under his belt. Hailing from Finland, Derke was previously a professional CS: GO player for the team Kova esports. He has also bagged the top places in many CS: GO championships proving his strength and skill.

On February 26, 2021, he shifted gears in his profession as he left the CS: GO gaming scene due to unforeseen circumstances and joined a new team, Fnatic, to play Valorant. He is a current member with a promising career. Before Fnatic, Derke was a part of other teams like Unsigned and CrowCrowd.

2019:

• In the Telia Esports Series Season 1, he placed 3rd while playing against ENCE.
• He got 2nd position in the Vectorama 2019 tournament held in June against HAVU Gaming.
• Derke brings his first-ever 1st position win in the Assembly Summer 2019. He represented KOVA Esports and played against SJ Gaming.
• In the Finnish Esports League Season 7: Online Stage, Derke takes home another 1st position win.
• Placed 3rd in the Finnish Esports League Season 7, losing to Helsinki REDS by two points.

Trivia

In March 2022, Derke tested positive for Covid-19, thus forcing him to temporarily pull out of the 2022 VCT Masters Reykjavík, Iceland, which was going to be held in April. Due to his absence, the team was forced to find a replacement, for which another player, Otom was considered.

Luckily, he got his test results back before the tournament and tested negative, allowing him to play and be safe from being benched.

In June 2020, Derke was benched into the inactive rosters of Kova esports as he chose to focus his attention on his studies. He received support from his peers and management.

Not to forget, Derke had tried out for gaming organization Immortals for Valorant before joining Fnatic but was unable to make it due to logistical reasons.
