Newzoo recently updated its ranking regarding the most games watched on Twitch in July 2016.
While League of Legends (LoL) remains the leader when it comes to the total hours watched, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) takes first place in terms of the most watched games based on eSports hours watched which comes with no surprise since ESL One Cologne 2016 – the second CS:GO major event which distributed $1M prize money – took place at the beginning of July and ELEAGUE climaxed when the final matches took place from 29th to 30th July.
