ELEAGUE Season 1 by the Numbers (TV Ratings / Twitch Stats / Social Media Stats / Prize Money Distribution)

Last weekend, the first season of ELEAGUE, an American television live eSports show created by Turner Broadcasting System (TBS), climaxed at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre when four of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) teams of the world battled for fame and fortune.

Following this, Turner announced, among other things, that ELEAGUE delivered 897 million total minutes of video consumption across TBS and Twitch during its first season and its social content netted more than five million video views across Twitter and Facebook.

We sat down to have a deeper look at the numbers of the first season and checked out the stats of ELEAGUES’ TV ratings, streaming data (provided by Gamoloco) and social media.
