How do Zyppan Settings Support His Playing Style?

Pontus “Zyppan” Eek started out as a professional Fortnite player, but it wasn’t until he switched to playing Valorant that his career really took off. As a popular Valorant Esports player, he has a growing list of fans and players alike interested in his playing style.

Most players, including Zyppan keep their windows sensitivities at 6 as it has proven to be the best.

Zyppan needs to get his video quality right if he continues to be aggressive and exhibit his strong fundamentals. It’s not always as straightforward as turning on all the video enhancing settings as these can quickly affect performance. Pontus Eek knows this, that’s why there’s a blend of quality resolution at 1920×1080 and balancing qualities where all of texture, material, UI, and detail qualities are set to low. 

He uses no anti-aliasing and keeps the anisotropic filtering at 1x so the image is as is, with the edge enhancement and smoothening. The aim is to enhance performance by reducing the work done by the GPU.

Being able to take calculated risks like Zyppan does involves understanding the game layout and map. How he sets up his map has a huge influence on these attributes. The Keep Players Centered and Minimap Vision Cones are on, while show map region names are set to never. The minimap size is a tad bit larger than normal at 1.2, while the minimap zoom is 0.85.

Pontus Eek is not afraid to try new things, which is evident in the way he sets his keybinds. As much as he wants a comfortable set of control keys with the regular jump, crouch, and walk using standard keys, he experiments with others.
