WIKO and eByte Announce Partnership

WIKO has announced an official partnership with eByte and increases its brand visibility in esports. Following engagements in sports and fitness the French smartphone manufacturer adds another partner to its esports portfolio after the cooperation with PENTA Sports.

eByte uses its own blockchain technology to establish an international payment and contract system for the esports community. The eByte Blockchain will therefore become the main development platform fueling third party eSport applications. This innovation complies with WIKO’s philosophy, as Britta Gerbracht, Marketing Director at WIKO Germany, states: “It was and is always our desire to facilitate peoples’ lifes with our products. With electronic sports as a future-oriented market and eByte as an innovative company we look into an exciting future with a partner, who shares our vision and philosophy. Through this cooperation we will connect people and together create unforgettable moments.”

Daniel Tewes, founder and CEO at eByte, further explains: “From the first moment WIKO was a pleasant partner. We quickly realized that we share the same views and we both go in for
quality and innovation. Therefore, a partnership with WIKO was just logical and we are delighted, that we could make important steps in esports and that we will make further
important steps together.”

Only recently eByte announced the cooperation with KAYDEE CEO Andreas Schaetzke, who is advising the company in regard to esports and gaming. The partnership between eByte and
WIKO is the first result of his advisory function and further encourages both companies’ engagement in esports.
