GG.Bet Becomes New Main Sponsor of Esports Club North

Today, North announced a new main sponsorship with one of the world’s biggest dedicated esports bookmakers, GG.Bet. The sponsorship, which sees GG.Bet become the principal title sponsor of North, includes a unique documentary series that chronicles North’s 2018 as well as a wide range of activations throughout the year.

The deal has come to fruition on the grounds of shared values between the two companies and a similar approach to the way they support esports. Damir Dedic, Partnerships Manager of GG.Bet explains: “We are very proud and excited to start this partnership with North. As a company, we always seek to support the growth of esports and provide a safe and fair betting experience to our customers. By working together with North we are hoping to bring fans closer to the action than ever before by providing exclusive content that will allow viewers to get a close look behind the scenes.”

The collaboration comes on the back of a successful first year for North, where top placings at ESL Pro League Season 5, DreamHack Masters Malmö and DreamHack Montreal were the highlights of 2017.

With GG.Bet on board for 2018, CEO of North, Christian Sørensen, expect to improve on all areas: “North is a brand that is built on two core principles: Excellence in managing performance groups and being the best at telling that story, and we have approached the search for a main sponsor with that in mind. We have been looking for a company that didn’t only understood the vision behind North, but also wanted to give back to the community. In GG.Bet we found a partner that understands and supports esports, which will allow us to get our fans even closer to us in 2018.”
