G2 Esports, the fastest growing global esports organization in Europe, and paysafecard, market leader in online prepaid payment methods, are inviting Fortnite influencers from around the world to enter the newest casting show aimed at finding the next four top content creators in Fortnite, Making the Squad. The casting show, further backed by Logitech G and Esport-Management, will have Fortnite enthusiasts and influencers compete in a series of interactive online challenges, for a chance to secure one of four full-time streaming contracts with the club and access to a global audience in the #G2ARMY.
Making the Squad is one of the industry’s first team-produced reality show, designed to source a new team of entertainers for the world’s most popular game, and is the first-ever interactive casting show produced by an esports organization. Participants will compete in a variety of challenges to prove their skill in the game and entertainment value. Fans will be a part of the action through engaging video content, streamed activities and customized challenges on social media.
The contest will take place over the course of eight weeks, from call for entries to finals which will be hosted on location in Berlin. All current Fortnite content creators over the age of 16 are invited to apply to be one of the 20 chosen to compete. The top four most entertaining and talented players will secure a streaming contract with G2 Esports.

Now through November 8th, fans can enter ‘Making the Squad’ by going to the website, and uploading a highlight reel of their Fortnite gameplay, and self-recorded video explaining why they want to join G2 Esports. The esteemed panel of judges led by Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez, will narrow down the contest submissions and interview the top twenty semi-finalists. Those chosen will compete in a variety of in-game and IRL challenges before being whittled down to a top eight who will be invited to Berlin to show off their techniques in final challenges and meet with G2 Esports. During the final competition held in Berlin, the four of the most talented finalists will be awarded full-time contracts and emerge as G2 Esports’ new Fortnite content team.
