Summer finals at gamescom
The new season will already start next week. The finals will take place at Europe’s biggest video game and entertainment fair gamescom. For the first time, all five disciplines are being contested.
Michael Bister, product manager of ESL Meisterschaft made the following statement concerning the announcement of the new season: “I am very happy to be back with the ESL Meisterschaft at the gamescom and to have all five games in our repertoire. We have taken last year’s feedback into account and decided to go this way. Even though it is going to be ‘only’ the respective finals, we have prepared a great program for the viewers and a big stage for the finalists to show their skills to the visitors of the gamescom. I am excited for the summer championship (Meisterschaft) and I am looking forward to see which teams and players are going to be able to call themselves ‘Germany’s best players’!”
