Emirates and ESL Bring eSports to Inflight Entertainment

ESL, the world’s largest eSports company and part of the international digital entertainment group MTG, today announced its first major inflight entertainment deal. From March 2017 to June 2018, Emirates flights will have on-demand ESL eSports content available to all passengers.

ESL will deliver highlights, clips and stories from major global events; such as ESL One New York 2016, which drew over 8,500 fans to the Barclays Center in New York last October or the world’s biggest eSports event in history, the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship Katowice 2017. Future stadium tournaments produced by ESL will also be added to the Emirates entertainment portfolio, including the ESL One Cologne 2017.
