FACEIT’s groundbreaking Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league, the eSports Championship Series (ECS), and eSports Arena, the world’s premier eSports venue, community hub and production company, are partnering to broadcast the online stage of ECS season three live to the massive screens at the eSports Arena Studio in Santa Ana. The venue will be broadcasting the matches from the new home of ECS livestreams: youtube.com/faceit
This collaboration will bring fans the entertaining commentary and casting of the ECS crew, along with many new opportunities to connect with pro players, fellow fans and the community. The eSports Arena is situated close to the home base for many of the North American ECS teams, opening the door for exciting fan content, such as meet and greets, LAN matches, fun competitions, production tours and much more. The eSports Arena studios provides the perfect location for a high quality broadcast that is talent and staff friendly, with convenient screening hours for both NA and EU matches.
“We’re tremendously excited to be a part of ECS,” said Paul Ward, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of eSports Arena. “The opportunity to bring offline community engagement to such a popular league will enhance the experience tenfold.”
The third season of ECS, and first broadcast from the new studio, kicks off on April 14 and will run until mid June.
“It’s fantastic to have such a great studio with the versatility to host lively community activities,” said Michele Attisani, Chief Business Officer and co-founder of FACEIT “Having a venue with local hours each day provides our staff and talent with a much improved experience, allowing them to be more engaged during the broadcast and with the community.”
